Blessed Sacrament Cathedral still stands strong having suffered similar effects of Western Jamaica from the onslaught of Hurricane Melissa. Though our physical space is damaged our faith and fellowship have remained strong. We have come together as a community to support and pray for each other as we work together to build back stronger with a renewed spirit focused on God and His guidance in shining His light for all to see.

Places most in need of repair are the Rectory and the Chancery but there is work to be done for the Cathedral as well. Please see items needed and ways you can contribute financially, listed below.

Hurricane Melissa comes with God's promise of being with until the end "Matthew 28:20, "And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age".  We have the opportunity to engage more with our community  as we be our brother's keeper. "Galatians 6:2, bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ"
